Fraud & Home Safety · Edition MMXXVIFour books · One planFor seniors & their families

The scammers are calling. Here's how to hang up on every one.

Four books, one plan, from a former Louisiana sheriff who spent twenty-two years working the cases nobody else wanted: the widower who lost his savings to a woman who didn't exist, the grandmother on the phone at the bank, the couple who paid a roofer after a hurricane and never saw him again. Stop scams, protect a parent, keep burglars out, and spot storm fraud before it costs you.

About the Author

Celeste Arceneaux.

Celeste grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana, in a big Cajun family. She spent twelve years as a sheriff's deputy before the people of a small rural parish elected her sheriff, and she served two terms. For most of those years she was the one sent when an older person got taken.

Then one afternoon her own mama got a call from "Medicare". The caller was polite and patient, and he knew her doctor's name. She was reading him her card number when Celeste walked into the kitchen. After twenty-two years protecting other people's mamas, she nearly missed her own.

She retired to take care of her, and wrote this collection so every family has what she'd tell them across a kitchen table.

A real bank, a real government office and a real grandchild will all still be there when you call back. A scammer won't.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Is anything mailed to me?

No. It's a digital collection (one PDF with all four books) that you download straight after paying. Nothing is shipped. You can print any page.

I'm buying this for my mother or father. Is that a good idea?

Yes, and Book 2 is written for you. It covers the warning signs, how to raise the subject without a fight, and the banking safeguards that protect a parent without taking away their independence.

Scams change all the time. Will this go out of date?

The stories change; the tricks underneath don't. Book 1 teaches the four tricks every scam uses, so you can spot new ones too.

I've already been scammed. Can this help?

Yes. The "I Think I've Been Scammed" pages tell you exactly who to call, in what order, in the first hour, and how to avoid the "recovery" scammers who come next.

What if it's not for me?

Reply to your receipt email within 7 days and you'll get a full refund.
